Abstract

The research is to investigate to find out the effects of non performing Loan, SBI, interest rate of saving, interest rate of loan, inflation Product Domestic Regional Bruto (PDRB) both simultaneously and partially to the function of intermediary. The method used for analysis is multiple regression of Backward Model, and then t-Test and F-Test. Based on the analysis of periods 2007-2009, there are some results. First, SBI affects negatively to Loans to Deposit Ratio (LDR). It is caused by the interest rate offered is more interesting so most of the banks allocate their funds to SBI (Sertificate of Bank of Indonesia). This result also supprts the theory that says, the increase of SBI will decrease the intermediary function. Second, partially, the variable of inflation does not affect the LDR. In this researh the calculation PDRB based on the current price, the inflation has been included in the calculation. Third, NPL is the dominant factor that affects the LDR. Non Performing loan (NPL) of the private Banks in South Kalimantan decreases. It causes the effect to the LDR is positive.
