ANALISIS VARIABEL-VARIABEL STRUKTUR MODAL DAN PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP LABA PER LEMBAR SAHAM (EPS) PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

Abstract

This study aims to determine and to analyze the influence of capital structure variable such as assets, sales growth, firm size and stability of cash flow to earnings per share (EPS) in the manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research data used in the preparation of this thesis is the secondary data obtained from the Internet site http//www.idx.co.id form of financial statements (Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss) of manufacturing company listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2008-2010 period . The sample in this study were 10 manufacturing companies. Sampling technique using a purposive sampling method. Methods of data analysis used were multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the study variables of capital structure that consists of the structure of assets, sales growth, firm size and stability of cash flow simultaneously have a significant effect on earnings per share (EPS) in the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. For partial results, indicated that only the stability of cash flows that has a significant and positive impact on EPS in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. While the structure of assets and sales growth have no significant effect on EPS in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange but the direction of positive influence. And company size has no significant effect and has negative impact on the EPS manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
