Analisis Penetapan Komoditas Unggulan Hasil Perkebunan dan Hasil Hutan Bukan Kayu dan Strategi Pengembangannya di Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the superior commodity of non-timber forest products and their development strategy in South Kalimantan Province. The selection of research locations was carried out in all districts / cities in South Kalimantan province by using secondary data from Badan Pusat Statistik, and other relevant data. Using the Location Quotient (LQ) analysis tool. Based on the results of the LQ analysis, it shows that for the non-gaharu wood forest products group and is the leading commodity for Tabalong, Kotabaru and Banjar districts, cinnamon is the leading commodity for Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. Meanwhile, rubber, candlenut and oil palm plantations are the main commodities for Tabalong Regency and Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency as well as Kota Baru Regency and Banjar Regency. The strategy for development is to carry out integrated development with a pattern of partnerships and cooperation between stakeholders and farmer groups and to promote programs related to the development of NTFPs seeds through extension activities, disseminating information and strengthening networks.
