PEMETAAN PROFIL BANK PERKREDITAN RAKYAT DI KABUPATEN HULU SUNGAI UTARA
Abstract
Bank Perkreditan Rakyat is bank accepting saving only in the form of time deposit, other form saving that likened with and alocation fund as effort BPR. BPR purpose to support national development in frame work to improving generalization, economic growth and stability of national to improvement of publics prosperity. Purpose of this research is to know generality condition, human resource structure, structure of finance balance, condition of competition and condition of eksternal of BPR Regency of HSU. Result of this research conclude that from two sampel BPR all chosening near by location with market or economic activity in subdistrict region. Quality of human resource which not yet adequate, either in level of manajerial and also operational cause height expense of overhead in operational of BPR. Height rate of interest credit of BPR because expense of overhead together with fund expense (cost of funds), really is not represent constraint meaning to all debitor of BPR. This matter is proven with increasing debitor of BPR during 2 the last year. There are preference change behavior of client BPR having the character of emotional market that is loyality customer having strong emotional with BPR caused according to social characteristic become more rational market calculate on profit or loss in transacting with BPR. The mentioned pushing increasing good competition between BPR and also with Bank Umum so that progressively complicate BPR in funding and pushing higher cost of funds BPR. Competition faced by BPR come from the other BPR, Micro Financial Institution like BMT and also with Bank Umum with having small unit or branch in rural area.
