MENEMPATKAN SUMBERDAYA MANUSIA SEBAGAI HUMAN CAPITAL
Abstract
Human resources is a process of utilizing human beings as human labor, so that the potential physical and psychological function has a maximum for the attainment of organizational goals (agency). Objectives of human resource management is to establish policies for the organization can improve the contribution or other roles. Human capital is the knowledge, skills, and abilities that can be used to generate professional services. HC reflects the collective ability of firms to produce the best solutions based on knowledge. The role of human capital in building a strong organization, including: strategic management of human resources, management of transformation and change, management of firm infrastructure, management of employee contribution. Human capital is not positioned like a machine, so as if human beings with machines, human capital can actually help decision makers to focus on human development with emphasis on investments in education (including training) in order to improve the quality of the organization as a part of nation building.
