PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PDAM BANDARMASIH DI BANJARMASIN

Abstract


This study aims to determine; (1) the influence of instructive leader-ship style to employee performance at PDAM Bandarmasih in Banjar-masin, (2) the influence of consultative leadership style on employee performance at PDAM Bandarmasih in Banjarmasin, (3) the influence of participative leadership style on employee performance at PDAM Bandarmasih in Banjarmasin, (4) the influence of the delegative leadership style on employee performance at PDAM Bandarmasih in Banjarmasin, (4) and the influence of leadership instructive, consulta-tive, participatory and discretionary style simultaneously on employee performance at PDAM Bandarmasih in Banjarmasin. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study is employee at PDAM Bandarmasih as many as 318 people. While the number of samples in this study was 76 respondents. Techniques for determining the sample using proportional random sampling. The data used is quantitative data and qualitative data, while the source of the data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection through questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis of the data in this study using multiple linear regression model. Based on the results of the analysis indicate that in partial instructive leadership, consultative leadership and participative leadership influence em-ployees’ performance PDAM Bandarmasih-Banjarmasin, while discre-tionnary leadership variable has no effect. Simultaneously variable of instructive leadership, consultative leadership, participative leadership and leadership discretionary influence on employee performance PDAM Bandarmasih-Banjarmasin. Four variables were able to explain the changes to employee performance PDAM Bandarmasih of 60.6%, while the remaining 39.4% is influenced by other variables not included in this model study.
