IMPLEMENTASI KESEHATAN DAN KESELAMATAN KERJA KARYAWAN PERUSAHAAN DALAM MENGHADAPI MEA 2016

Abstract

MEA is an agenda of economic integration of ASEAN countries which aims to eliminate, if not, to minimize the obstacles in economic activity across the region, for example in trade in goods, services and investments. One of the factors affecting the competitiveness of the MEA is the management of occupational safety and health (K3). K3 in Indonesia is still very low with a proven track record as many as 5,567 cases occurred during 2015. This proves that the management k3 in Indonesia should be improved to increase the competitiveness of the MEA. Health and safety of employees need to be considered optimal because it can affect the performance of employees to work more optimally, and ultimately will impact the company's performance is getting better. With the K3 program include; safety training, work environment control, supervision and discipline, safety publications, and awareness raising K3 is expected to drive the performance of which is supported by the initiative, responsibility, teamwork, and precision, as well as the discipline which is on each individual employee
