Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the soundness of the bank seen from the Risk Profile Factor, Good Corporate Governance Factor, Earning Factor, Capital Factor, which was surveyed by the IICG institution and published financial reports for the 2014-2016 period. The population is all banking companies listed on the IDX for 2014-2016, while the sample is four banks using the purposive sampling method. The results of the study are seen from the Risk Profile. In the 2016 period, Bank Mandiri was in the very healthy category; BRI was in the healthy category, BTN was in the reasonably healthy category, while BNI was in the less healthy category. From the GCG factor in 2016, Mandiri, BNI, and BRI were in the excellent category, while BTN was in a good category. Assessment of Earning Factors In the 2016 period, Mandiri, BNI, BTN, and BRI were very healthy. Assessment of the Capital factor In the 2016 period, Mandiri, BNI, BTN, and BRI were in the very healthy category. Bank health seen from all factors In the 2016 period, Mandiri, BNI, BTN, and BRI received a composite rating of very healthy.
